Technovation International Challenge
I have been participating in this amazing program since 2008 when the Technovation Challenge was introduced to the Boston area at an event at Google in Cambridge in 2008. This is a key program in my exciting girls about computer science, especially in designing and developing mobile apps and business plans to support their idea as a start-up company. The team idea is one that is based on a community problem students are truly interested in being part of the solution space. The community can be anything from their family, a class in school, the school community, their local community, a regional problem to a world centered problem or community in the world that needs help.
This year, one of my teams of high school young women is presenting at Microsoft in Burlington MA. Next year these young women will be mentoring younger girls in the Junior Technovation challenge as well as submitting with their own team. I am always excited to work with Technovation Teams. I have a FWE- Future Women Engineers club that submit to the Technovation International Challenge, usually every year or every other year. Please contact me anytime to discuss this program.
