“Tech-Blog With Me”

“Tech-Blog With Me” Tech- Blog with me assigns blog posting in 2 areas. Students can follow the assignments, combine ideas, or adjust and adapt the lessons to enjoy. The first area is Computer Science and Tech concepts, the second area is current events.

Tech topic- sorting: Computers are really great at sorting and searching through large amounts of data, what do you sort in every day life? Describe the process of sorting. My sample: One example of sorting is that I sort is dishes when taking them out of the dishwasher. I sort the dishes into large and small piles, and have one cabinet for glass dishes and one for porcelain dishes. I sort glasses and mugs into a third cabinet, one shelf for glasses and one for mugs. Lastly I sort silverware into 2 drawers each with different sets, into a sorting tray.

Current events: Cybersecurity is a great area of computer science for current events. Who is Edward Snowden and/or Julian Assange? Answer questions of Who, What, Where, When, Why and How? These can be more than one day of Blogging and exploring other topics for other blog posts as research leads to interests in further learning.
